About Us

Metzler Mower was established in December of 1964 by Ivan and Anna Metzler of Strasburg, Pa. They began selling Wheel Horse tractors and equipment. With the help of their sons, Glenn and Don, the business began to grow.

In 1983 IH Cub Cadet Equipment was added

In 1986 Honda Power Equipment was added.

In 1989 the Toro Company purchased Wheel Horse. Many Wheel Horse parts are still available today through Toro.

In 1990 Echo Power Equipment was added.

In 1995 Exmark was added.
